Re: My Pandora Aurora Super QL Project
That is a very kind offer I'm trying to remember if I fitted a mk2 minerva or just left it with the minerva it came with.

Re: My Pandora Aurora Super QL Project
Ah I checked, I have the basic minerva mounted to the small board with one or two pins bent out into different sockets. I could just swap that out for the QL SD?
Re: My Pandora Aurora Super QL Project
I have to admit that I have no knowledge about aurora.
It sounds as if it was designed for original ROMs and that you have Minerva in an EPROM.
In that case YES you can swap it against a QL-SD.
The problem is that it might be the other way round.
I don't know wether there exist Minerva in ROM layout.
kind regards Paul

I think it's just the same as a normal QL Minerva. I'll take some photos tonight

Hi,
The Aurora QL ROM Socket takes a single QL ROM chip, that is the Minerva Mk1, MK2 boards or both QL roms soldered one chip on top of each other and plugged into the Aurora QL Rom Socket.
See attached photo...
The designs for a QL Eprom board will probably work in the Aurora as well.

Thanks Derek.
So QL-SD can replace your Minerva without any adapter.

Re: My Pandora Aurora Super QL Project
Hi Paul,
If you look in the Aurora User Manual Apendix A.4 shows the QL Rom variations, either 28 pin or 32 pin Roms can be fitted:
I have an Aurora, but there is a fault on it, I will see if I can get it working...
