sQ68ux, is a wonderful piece of software, but due to the limited software development has problem,s with higher resolutions.
It does? Would be nice if people told me there were problems!

I reported on the QL Chat on 6/11/23. that the SMSQ/E pointer was not linked to the mouse, but acknowledge has been made.

You mean 512x256 Mode 4.

Derek_Stewart wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2023 10:19 am Personally, I think the Q68 High Colour display modes were a mistake, as the effort to display 1024x768 16bit colour is too much
For 1024x768... well I sometimes I think that, too. But for sQ68ux, potentially running on fast hardware, it might be a blessing.
For up to 512x384 I still find the highcolor performance adequate.

Hi Peter,

Sorry about the errors in the message, of course thd Q68 screen didplay modes I mainly use are:

DISP_MODE 0 : 256x256 Mode 8
DISP_MODE 1 : 512x256 Mode 4
Disp_MODE 2 : 512x256 Mode 33
DISP_MODE 4 : 1024x768 Mode 4
DISP_MODE 6 : 512x384 Mode 33

In fact I find DISP_MODE 4 the main use, as this really good on my 23" Monitor.

But the DISP_MODE 2 QL screen size with High colours is great for QL games with more colours.

Hi tinyfpga.
I really like your idea of a QQL, so I wanted to do something similar :) .
My idea was a minipc with a minimal windows 7 installation, to run Qemulator.
Could you post the file for 3D printing of the case?
Thank you very much.
Marco

I am glad you like it. It's not quite finished. It was designed around three particular Chinese components which may be difficult
to find again, even though I bought them this year.

The case is printed in four pieces because my printer is not large enough to print it in one go. The key board is separate from the computing module.
The design is thus quite flexible.

The moment it is finished I will post the STL files and a list of the components I used.

I am planning other QQLs based on Raspberry PI 5 and Q68.

I have posted two zip files containing the .STL files you wanted on the thread titled : ql+ prototype rebuild ? possible
