Hi all,
Most of the QLs I have seen have 2 resistors soldered together then attached to the ZX8302 at the bottom pins. However, my ZX8302 does not have any resistors attached.
I was wondering if they are needed and what purpose they serve?

That was one of the 'mandatory' modifications that was supposed to be carried out whenever QLs were in for repair:
