mersey mouse board build...

so i build in vero board... the mersey moyse inter face with 4013 4011 4081 and 4066 i put a tank mouse.... an a hack mouse that i make olso i try a atari st mouse...
with 3 mouse in the joystick tester...that has led that work with the ground.... so it blinks the leds... but in a strange way.... when i move the mice to up... some times blinks the up... but sometimes the down.... if i go to left its left blikns but and the rigth... (the same think happent on down disrection an right )
in diagonial... the led blinks like cricle but very fast...
mayebe the mouse on mersey interaface is special designed for the inter face????
