Hi,

Thank you for the links, they look really expensive, I have the OSSC v1.6 PCB details, just need to be able to SMD solder the chips...

Or get a GBS8200 or GBS8220 and mod with the GBS-Control upgrades which gives nearly the same result for less half half the price.

I'm not sure whether anyone has seen these before? I've just got myself a copy of a French magazine which has a good article on the Mac and QL at launch, in the context of whether they can unseat IBM's PC (article is a very decent 8 1/2 pages)

Yeah it's pretty decent. I was not sure whether it was a known article here or not? If anyone wants me to scan it for archival/preservation, let me know.

Built this a few years ago using MC68681 (3 byte receive FIFO).

Just picked up a bargain deal I couldn't ignore on 26 of SC28L92 (16 char FIFOs). :D :D :D
