This sounds really good, Ian. And a pretty reasonable cost too. I presume it works with a standard QL-SCART cable, without any modification required?

Any chance you could perhaps post a photo of what the display looks like?

Quite fancy one of these myself, as although I can connect my QL to our TV via SCART, it does suffer from the slight loss of characters at the edges as it stands.

This is a nice find. I wonder if it has a chipset that can be incorporated into QL2?

I will take a photo of the screen tomorrow, and I will open her up for a look inside also.

Yes, I use the normal ql to scart cable without any mods.

Hi all,

Here's the pics.

I always got to modify stuff........so I'll probably try and integrate the SCART-HDMI converter directly into the QL case. I quite like the idea of an HDMI socket on the QL back panel.......somewhere!
Will need a bigger PSU though as I'm already powering the floppy drive etc from the QL.

Looks good, it seems to have coped well with the overscan.
Thank you for the pictures, and good look with building it into your QL. Must admit, I'd probably just have taped it to the QL over the microdrives if it fits there (although it might get hot there).

Is it worth adding some of the details about this to the FAQs - need the manufacturer and model number as the ebay listing may not last long!

To complete info about converter I've found another one on amazon named "max track cl30" and seems to have same feature of the one buyed by IanJ.
I buyed it, so when it will arrive I'll prepare some description and picture of internal circuit. (and obviously I hope that ql screen will be complete too...) :-D
cheers
