Thank you :)
Hope in a week or perhaps 2, to implement the next feature (TODO), different screen modes. :)
Then ... we'll play around a little about sound emulation and some extra sound features.
And... last one from my side about MDP, the WiFi or Bluetooth file transfer.

After that, from my side, I want to work around about keyboard, mouse, video and sound systems to add to the QL low cost solutions

Here is the last firmware update (from my kitchen),
Again... no responsabilities at all on Dr. Gusman, and its use is under your own risk.

:)
So ... what's new?
You can define a default file to autoload on booting the QL.
I didn't full test the saving changes on autoload image ( due to Keyboard issues), so be aware about it please.

Screens mode will be possible this week or perhaps next.

Breaking news.
Just new shape that fits the original cartridges boxes.
Doing some tests about electrical issues that could appear due to some modifications on the side guides, all looks fine :)

As soon as possible I will share the Gerbers.

News:
About new firmware that allows to change the screen modes, I couldn't work on it farther than refactoring code to make it easier. Hope next month.
After it... I will try to afford the sound system or the Bluetooth images transfer. No new Driver will be needed.

Cheers :)

Hi all one.
Little modifications on the board that already are tested.

Driver:
  • Added safety electrical border area.
  • UX is separated from IDC connector in order to revise or to change it in case of damage.
  • IDC has some holes under it to open it easily.
  • Screws area now have a non electrical surface, that allows to screw original one without the need of a washer screw
  • Transistor footprint for Sound System now is the correct one.

Cartridge
Ver 1.4B
  • Added safety electrical border area.
Ver 1.4C
  • Shorter wings in order to store in the Microdrive boxes.
  • Added Safety electrical border area.

Also there is my last firmware version. Just in case it is lost somewhere :)

I have tested all with my tools, but use them under your own risk.
