Someone on the forum was working on something similar. The issue, I think, is that those switches won't feel very responsive and/or last too long. The real issue is the way the keys are done themselves. I think Tedroid had actually shown a complete replacement were the top of the case had to be cut out.

This is for the ZX Spectrum and Spectrum 128, it will not work on the QL without modification.
I did have a design in schematic form for a Cherry Switch based keyboard replacement, which did not modify the QL upper case. I also recall, that someone elsse did a project of a smiliar nature.
I will dig out the schematic and see where I am with it.
