They have checked - they only have 2 x 630W plugs and 32 x 631W (serial port) :(

Not really interested in the serial port ones (but I will grab them all) - looks like Derek's stock is the main source.

I will list the plugs on sellmyretro for others to make up their own cables

I'd like to give it a try, I will look out for those!

Here's a question - are there any QL games which actually support 2 joysticks in CTL1 and CTL2? i.e. Would there by any point acquiring 2 such cables??

The BT plugs, if you ignore the pawl, are RJ45 connectors. They have the same dimensioning and use the same wire and tools (but with a little dremel-ing because of the pawl.)

So at a pinch you can break the pawl off an RJ45 and use that if no 630W are available.

I noticed today that an ebayer is currently selling a handful of CTL connectors, already crimped to a length of wire, if anyone would find that useful:
