Changing backgrnd & text colour
Changing backgrnd & text colour
How could I swap text and background colours in this forum? I'd rather have black text on light background. Are such settings available for the user or not?
Thanks
Thanks

Not to my knowledge.
I guess the white on black has been chosen deliberately, after all the QL is not an Amiga.......

But the Commodore 64 keyboard had white letters on dark background...
Anyway, it's not a matter of taste, but how human eyes perceive better the text

I don't think the board supports alternate themes per user. When the next version of the board software kicks in, a slight redesign will be needed and we will have a higher contrast between text and background. Probably white text and same back ground colour

If the admin has enabled more than one style, you would be able to choose from the "Edit global settings" page on the Control Panel. But only one style is available. So the option does not appear.
Having said that, it is likely that some third party software could do what you want. But it will take a bit of setting up.

So, if you want the board in more conventional colours and style, ask the admin to enable the Prosilver style.

It's not my fault, I swear! It's due to the TrumpCard EDiting style!vanpeebles wrote:If we were black text and white background we would be speccy
