Norman, I guess you're too fast for your publisher. The Apress site doesn't know anything about the bargain (yet?)

I will be buying your book when the discount is available.
Is this the first book you have published on computing systems?

Re: Norm's New Book - 55% Off!
Refresh your caches gents, it is available now on the link I gave above and has been for all of June.
That's what is showing right now.
@Tinyfpga - this is my first "paper" book, published by a proper publisher. I have a couple of eBooks out in the wilds on Oracle Databases and my printed ramblings on Assembly Language programming, from QL Today over the years, are also available in eBook form. I also do a slightly irregular eMagazine on assembly programming for the QL.
Link fest coming up:
Oracle Trace Files: https://github.com/NormanDunbar/OracleT ... ses/latest
QL Book: https://github.com/NormanDunbar/QLAssem ... ses/latest
QL eMagazine: https://github.com/NormanDunbar/QLAssem ... e/releases
Everything else: https://github.com/NormanDunbar?tab=repositories
HTH
Cheers,
Norm.

Also, interesting pricing structure: the whole eBook costs £22 but then you can also buy each chapter separately at £20 per chapter... quite a bargain

Re: Norm's New Book - 55% Off!
Interesting. If you go to apress.com do you see a button "activate your discount"? Click through that and you should get the discount. Failing that, use "SUMMER55" as the discount code in checkout.
They've been sending out Tweets (on Twitter) all week and advertising it on the main page.
Nothing like consistency, is there!
Cheers,
Norm.

Re: Norm's New Book - 55% Off!
I'm going to grab a copy. We use arduino's at school and to have a QL'er as the author is pretty cool. They took away or cards due to COVID and the huge financial hit the university took so I'll get it own it personally, but at 55% off that's a pretty good deal.

Yes, the button did the trick. I ordered the soft cover version as that was only 3€ more than the eBookNormanDunbar wrote:Interesting.
