I meant to share this the other week, but I now have a Colour Maximite 2 computer, running MMBasic.

You can read about the CMM2 here:
https://geoffg.net/maximite.html

And the unofficial support forums are here:
https://www.thebackshed.com/forum/ViewForum.php?FID=16

Basically, a switch-it-on-and-get-coding-in-BASIC-immediately computer but with the added benefits of read/write from standard FAT formatted SD card, full screen colour syntax highlighted editor, built in filesystem browser, very good BASIC, tons of connectivity, including to Wii Nunchuks (!) , super, super fast etc
I've now bought a VGA splitter so that I can get my Q68 to sit on top of it and share the monitor - not set that up yet though.

Anyway, thought the people on here might find it interesting.

The maximite also comes in a mini format - for embedded applications - I am using one in a project for controlling a weller soldering pencil - using rotary encoder and a small colour oled touch panel - the basic is very fast - quite usable for embedded devices where you only want to use say a 28 pin slim dip package rather than waste a pi.

Yes, it is. It only needs a new membrane.

And the correct PSU, as that one is from a rubber key speccy ;). The 48k+ had a very similar (in external appearance) PSU to the QL. Unless of course it's a rubber key that's been upgraded to + case, but then I don't think it would have the box etc. I do actually have a spare 48K+ PSU, just in case you need it.

Ask me about felt pads - I can cut them to size and they have proved excellent for mdv data recovery.

Yes, you are right - that is a rubber key PSU. Actually it came with 2 PSU - the original rubber key PSU and a 8V 1.8A Acorn computer PSU.
So yes, I need your 48K+ PSU. Please send me a message with the price, including transport. Thank you very much!

I dug it out and it works. It also has a fitted original Euro type plug on it (it's an EU1400 model). I may as well swap it for empty original QL boxes. I'll email.
