Hello From Frankfurt

Post by SH1 »

Hello All,

I am a UK subject Living and working in Frankfurt.

As an IT Specialist, I have a lot to be thankful for, that Clive Sinclair developed the Cambridge Programmable Calculator. This was my introduction to programming and Clive Sinclair. Since then, I have grown-up with all of his machines up to and including the Z88.

Looking forward to some interesting discussions and learning more About Things I do not know About the QL.

Regards
Simon

Welcome to the forum!

Love the Z88 - one of Sir Clive's better ideas :-)

Agree. I use mine each day, when I am sitting in the Pub I quite often get some strange remarks, as most people think that it is a new machine :)

Hi Simon.

I never had a Z88, but I admit to being a Sinclar addict!

Have fun in the forum, but don't forget the wiki too - https://qlwiki.qlforum.co.uk

Cheers,
Norm.

Quite slim at about 2 cm thick :-) And the best of the 'dead flesh' keyboards from Sir Clive. It even got a reasonable review from Dave on the EEVblog - that's a challenge in itself.

Ask me about felt pads - I can cut them to size and they have proved excellent for mdv data recovery.
