Interesting eBay package...

Post by Simon_Carr »

Saw this on eBay last night: that looks like a SuperQBoard in the photo. Advertised as not working, but could be a good deal for someone close to Cambridge...

The SQB is an older version, and looks very abused.

It looks very similar to my one, although perhaps not quite so abused (how can you tell?)! I have an issue 1 SQB.... The RAM is all fine, but is there anything I should be careful of? I've not yet connected anything to the disk drive or printer port, so I wouldn't know how well these work...

That one has a couple of mods that look bent and twisted, and the black cover is on crooked, which would take a LOT of force - like maybe being dropped on the expansion end while in a QL.

No special precautions. Just turn on the QL last.
