They are not that rare - I think they were both type-in games from QL-User / QL World - certainly Stellaris was....

Stellaris was definitely a type-in game - But not a bad one, written in S*Basic and rather large. I seem to recall I tried for several weeks to get the code in when it was first published and lost quite a bit of work with several QL lock-ups due to heat and faulty disks.
The other thing I remember was a really ridiculous amount of windows opened by the program ;)

Tofro - heat-related lock-ups are a growing problem as our QLs age. I have a nice solution coming :)

The QL with the schoen keyboard, joystick and quite a few microdrives is back up on ebay -

Unfortunately, the seller is not very helpful - he won't take it to the post office and won't wait in all day for a courier to call to pick it up.

Shame - all I want is the microdrive cartridges in case there are any items on there for preservation (I have enough second hand QLs....)

Yes I had noticed that, and its not the first time its been listed!

I don't think the seller quite understands ebay! :-(

He is pissed off no-one bids, but no-one bids because no-one can get the goods!

Yes I've seen this one a few times. It's stupid because if he posted, it would go for a lot more money.

Written and I sent this
Hello, having discussed this with fellow QL'ers the reason why your bids are so low is that interested people seems to be put off by collecting and prefer postage. The postage is a fixed amount that is added to whatever the item goes for, so that you are not out of pocket. The fact you get regular emails about the item suggests that the interest is there, it takes effort to write in an email to eBay compared to casual looking. You are very likely to get better bids for this item if postage was added to the item.
Well lets see what happens.
