I have a USB connected device reader /programmer (leaper 48 in case anyone is interested), and would be willing to have a go at archiving the EPROMS, I guess doing it this way would not risk the QL by plugging in unknown roms. I also have the facilities to desolder / unmount roms if needed for dumping.
