First post alert!
Right, I've not touched BASIC for many, many years(When I was about 10). I've written a text adventure game and would really like to put one on Tape so it would work on a Spectrum.
What would be the best way of doing this? Is there a Text adventure engine that could save files as a TZK file? Or would I need to do it in BASIC? Is there an easier way to do this nowadays? I've worked out how to get the TZK file onto the cassette, but it's the hard bit of actually coding the damn thing.
Perhaps I should use an existing game as a template.
Any ideas would be really welcome

Hello there Is this for a spectrum or a QL? If it's for a speccy you might be better off asking on worldofspectrum.org

I think, that even in the ZX Spectrum community, there is no common knowledge, what "TZK file" means.
Edit: maybe TZX?
