QL APT - Adventure Programming Tool

Post by RWAP »

I have just dug out the manual for the Adventure Programming Tool which was sold by Shadow Games.

Unfortunately, I can't find a copy of the software (although about half of my disks are with petevanpeebles for him to transfer across to the PC - sorry Pete, yes, I do have a load more!)

It would appear to have been written by Steve Sutton and may well have transformed into the ACT (Adventure Creation Tool) sold by Digital Precision - it certainly had a copy of Imagine (as with ACT).

It looks to have had optional sound and graphics modules.

It would be interesting to compare this with ACT. If only we can find a copy of the software!

Hey I don't have the discs! :) Originally ACT was sold by Shadow and there was a bit of a to-do about it, so the author took it to DP. I think it was mentioned in an old QLAF.

Rich,
I've had a look through the box of discs that you sent me.

I can't find anything called 'Adventure Programming Tools'
Although there are a few discs without labels!

If I find it during the transfer, I'll let you know!

If vanpeebles parps in the woods and there is nobody around, does it make a sound?
