RS232 ROBOT ARM ....

I will try to use this ROBOT arm with the QL .. :D
(I'm using a superhermes card, so the serial connection should be not a problem .. )..

:D :D :D

The real problem is writing the QL version of the ARM software, now available only on Windows platforms.

To move the robot, I need to write a procedures library.

I will try ... ;)

David Buckley, who is on Quanta committee, has specialised in robotics for years. He has regularly demonstrated a little turtle robot linked to a QL via serial port and controlled by SuperBASIC procedures. You can see his work onhis website at http://davidbuckley.net/DB/Zero2/Zero2.htm - that link takes you to his zero2 page, or more stuff at http://davidbuckley.net/DB/

There's some contact details on his website.
