Taking inspiration from someone on this group, I printed a compact box for the vDrive and used a longer ribbon cable, looping it through the box. This saves desk space by allowing vDrive to sit on the QL.
I also printed a box for QL-VGA.

Cool...it's like the big brother of my vDrive
I do like that it saves space. I actually don't have any space to the left of my QL...one reason I did that mod.
Is the QL VGA STL available? That one looks like it was made by Sinclair Research. At first glance I thought "oh no, they cut up a QL case."

Great job mselkin!
Anyway, I suggest to place nothing on the heatsink area: it can be very hot. Unless you replaced the 7805 regulator with a cooler one, of course.

I haven't replaced mine but it doesn't get very hot...a little warm towards the back end but it's never warmed up my vDrive.

Re: Recent 3d prints
Hi,
This all looks great, what type of 3D printer was used?
Is there any benefit of Resin printers?

The 3D printer was scratch built from parts purchased online, so is not a particular brand but the hotted is made by e3D.
Resin printers produce wonderful quality prints but currently are only for smaller sized prints.
