Format a DOM in windows and copy a win file to it for QUBIDE?

Post by vanpeebles »

What is the best way to format a DOM in windows, and then copy/restore a win_ file to it, for use with a QUBIDE?

Yeah the power thing is a pain too. These will just be for occasional usage and play :)

Some DOM's have power connector option on pin 20 - the qubide clone that's based on the Spanish design actualy offers this - which means no external flying lead is necessary - just plug it in and enjoy a fast solid state disk :-)

Fresh with inspiration from the meet yesterday. I setup my white QL, found the ram chip, and other chip I removed from the qubide to test in the aurora ages ago, and I fitted a tetroid regulator!

I've got the DOM ready to go on the QL, and the sd card is running too. I just need to do the BDI thing on qemulator, then I'll try and copy everything to the sd card, then via the QL to the DOM.

Pardon my ignorance, what is a DOM?

Is it related to a CUMMINGS by any chance? ;)

Seriously though, I read this morning that police are investigating the disappearance of a plaque from outside the Colgate factory! :D :D :D (I lied about seriously)

Cheers,
Norm.
