boot_obj looks like a QLiberated QL program (There also seems to be a QLIB runtime on that disk) , and I'd suppose boot_flp and boot_mdv are the S*BASIC boot programs for that executable.

If I were to look for QL stuff, I'd try to run these.

Yes, they are, I already tried those. 'boot' just lrun's the 'clone' prog, or rather doesn't as it's damaged. boot_flp/_mdv LRESPR the Qlib_ext...

Ask me about felt pads - I can cut them to size and they have proved excellent for mdv data recovery.

I have sent Chris some copies I have preserved of this software - it is untested, but he may be able to fix his corrupt files :)

The attached zip file contains:

Organiser2.mdv - an mdv made up of the original contents of one of Rich's zip files that was labelled as v2.01.
OrganiserBak.mdv - the backup that booting the above creates for you.

When the 'new' backup is run from mdv1_ you get the following menu screen:
organiser.png
So yes, clearly a QL<>Psion Organiser transfer prog, but not much good without a lead and possibly the instructions. It also refers to Mail List, another Transform product.

And as they're all PD now, this is a version of Mail List (v3.01 on the cart) that I recovered the other day and seems to be fine. An mdv image zipped in windows.
