Ask me about felt pads - I can cut them to size and they have proved excellent for mdv data recovery.

Re: Keyboard Interface problem
Hi all,
I have another issue with this K/B interface in combination with SMSQ/E for GC.
Running the ABC interface with Minerva and the corresponding K/B driver works quite well, everything is fine.
Under SMSQ/E version 337 (also 335) the Keyboard works except the arrows keys. When pressing them the corresponding number (2,4,6,8) is displayed. These are really the arrow keys from the arrow key pad, not from the number keypad. Also Numlock (intentionally found something in the SMSQ/E manual) does not work, means I also can not use them to move the cursor.
Does someone has any idea about the reason?
Cheers,
Stephan

Re: Keyboard Interface problem
Very few people actually have these, I think you're the first one in many many years. And looking at the code, it seems that TT started to implemented the Numlock code but never actually finished it...Maskenlos wrote:Does someone has any idea about the reason?

Re: Keyboard Interface problem
Oh, and as far as I know the XT keyboards that the interface supports didn't have dedicated arrow keys, so I guess your keyboard maps them to the number block when the XT protocol is used or whatever.
Re: Keyboard Interface problem
Thanks for the information Marcel.
It seems there is no quick fix for the issue
