SGC + QUBIDE - on original QL

Post by genetika »

Hi.
The original qubide has a bypass connector, not the new ones.
It is difficult for me to use both on the original QL.
I have also bought different backplane but without success.
:(
Any suggestions?

Ps. Is it possible to Develop one board With both the interfaces inside?

Thanks !

With QL-SD, SGC fits nicely into the original case. So my first question would be, why not replace Qubide?
Practically, I don't see that Qubide has any advantage left for QL mass storage, not even speed.

I think the best solution is to use QL-SD with the latest logic and driver. This can be my original device, if someone with EPROM and Lattice programmer helps you, or the remake from mk79 which is still on sale.

If someone develops a SGC successor, some integrated mass storage ist likely. But that would probably be an SD card interface as well.
