I like the fact that my tiny little Kindle charger far exceeds the 5v 1A required minimum. When I think back to the concrete block that was/is my QL power supply!

Not that the Q68 requires 1A. That is just lots of extra current for external devices that might be connected.

Without external devices, the Q68 board consumes only 0.15 A.

... Tobias Gubener for the CPU core the Q68 finally uses
... Adrian Ives for the QL-SD driver, initially used for Q68 mass storage

... Wolfgang Lenerz for his outstanding achievement of porting SMSQ/E to the Q68

Hi Derek,

This is great and compact design. Is it an FPGA implementation? I remember you announcing 'Verilog' intensive course self study in connection with ZX8301 - ULA reengineering, so this is the result probably.

These modern designs are simply beyond my skills and capacities. Again, very well done.

Hi Tomas,

I wish this was true, but I do not have the programming skills to develop the FPGA core, my only input into this is producing the Q68 from design specifications.

Peter Graf has developed the Q68 FPGA core that emulates a 68000 CPU.

Peter should be congratulated for the amount of work he puts into producing the high quality hardware.
