Unusual SPEM Disk Interface

One of the Italian QL users on Facebook has uploaded some images of a rather rare SPEM QL Disk Interface - called SPEM INT-Disk

I never even knew that SPEM made a disk interface - I certainly don't recall any adverts etc - does anyone have any details?

Hehe. I remember these. Like everything made by SPEM, they were badly assembled so of poor mechanical quality. The chipsets and firmware were fairly standard.

Ok..made by SPEM Italy (Torino) and recovered from an old fan of QL near Milano by another fan also in Milano (this is a link to see whole story...sorry only in italian: http://compvter.blogspot.it/2013/10/spe ... liano.html )

I visited the URL with Chrome Browser and it translated it in English.

Who owns that stuff - would like some more details and photos of the SPEM System-2 (?) box - I see there is a manual, and the Quest memory expansion too for the QL Wiki
