SellMyRetro, tetroid, meese and bloodnok

Post by Sparrowhawk »

I recently bought the following items from sellmyretro (my first purchases on Rich's site)

1. tetroid's SGC clone
2. bloodnok's vDriveQL (with vMap)
3. Meese's RGB to HDMI

I have receieved all items in excellent time and they all came well packaged and safe (important especially for those coming form NZ and Russia!). All work exactly as described, and I am very satisfied with the quality in all cases.

So thank you to all three vendors.

I also wanted to thank Rich Mellor/sellmyretro - the site worked flawlessly.

I have to say that the above combo is excellent:
The RGB2HDMI adapter needed some calibration (explained in the WIKI) and after that I have a rock solid crisp display for the first time ever! Quite a revelation :)
The SGC is, well, fast!
The vDrive is great - the manual is superb. The only downside is in the excitement of getting an SD card drive I forgot that Microdrive images are limited to 127K!!! Silly me. So I'll need to keep my disk drives around for a bit longer, until I can find something else to plug in for WIN_ style file sizes.
I have not yet plucked up the courage to open up my QL to add the vMap, I must confess.

There is another SD card interface that gives you bigger images. You install them internal on the QL.
