You should start a proper thread for this one :ugeek:

Show us your rig!

Hi QLers,

finally summer has arrived, hot summertime reached Switzerland. Before leaving for my summer vacation with my family I have to upgrade all designated PCs to Windows 10 before the free upgrade period ends.

Today was the time to upgrade the Gamer PC of my son. Quite a beast. And fast like hell when running a virtual QL. See:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDhpsHZocAM

QTop-Index scores 1202.968. How much does your PC score?

Enjoy the summer!

QL forever!
Urs

You have hot summer days?! It's not fair!

I only got 600 and something, I don't think it was running right :(

I got 1589 (1673 when using ram1_ instead of win1_) on an i7-4790. My machine is multi-boot and I mostly use Windows 7. I also have a Win10 installation but use it mostly for testing (I don't like the new user interface) and a Linux Mint installation.
Update: When I set QPC to native 512x256 resolution I got 1774!

cheers, Jan.

515 with win1_ - my desktop is from 2009 - not so bad - that was the end of my "gamer time" :-)

A QTop-Index of 622 is reported when running uQLx 2017 under ubuntu 14.04 LTS 32-bit on a Core i5-6200U based system (fanless).

Its worth noting I changed the default in uQlx 2017 to 2x zoom which costs some time as it renders the GFX twice.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz

1043 with -z2
1101 with -z1

Hi,

I have discussed `uQLx' zooming with Richard Z. a while ago, along with calibrating CPU loop, to get optional real `QL' speed (currently runs as fast as the host system), but never touched the source yet.

Can you please suggest around which lines you modified the code?
Perhaps might also be useful to push the relevant patch to QL GitHUB's uQLx sources.

Many thanks.
Tomas
