I did make it for the last few hours. Silly me thought it was in the evening (which is was) so I guess I have no sense of time. In any case, can't wait to watch the parts I missed so I can see some more cool stuff and put faces to names. I did get my camera to finally work for the last hour so some people got to see my mug.

Thanks for hosting it! Reminded me of days gone by when we had NESQLUG meetings here in the US (every other month maybe, or maybe I couldn't make them all) and I got to see some cool demos of QL stuff.

If anybody wondered why I might seem to have been a bit distracted at the end, this was because of Ralf's throwaway comment that "Black Knight" at least has visible board edge unlike the prevalent Psion Chess version. I thought "right, that is a curious thing" and started disassembling it right away. It seems like everyone enjoyed the event and people have asked if there would be anymore. How does it sound if we have one big meet every forum birthday anniversary, and then maybe a smaller shorter meet, half a year from that? 6 months on?

For me it would be great to have a meeting every 3 months

Yes, we are planning to make meetings in the evening to let as many people join as possible.

Hi folks,

even I was in just for about 1.5 hours it was great to see and chat with many know faces and names plus some new to me folks.

Thanks for making this possible and yes, looking forward for future events. Quarterly would be nice.
