It's *OBVIOUSLY* the little bar that goes in the ROM port to align the slot on ROM cartridges.

Jammed expansion card extraction tool.

I need one to get my Gold Card out of my QL #2, it's that snug a fit I struggle to remove the Gold Card.

Also doubles as a bent pin straightener for J1. On the other side it says "sinclair multitool - no user servicable parts inside"

I thought it was the opposite - to help line up the expansion cards when slotting them into the QL - always a problem when trying to insert a Trump Card....

According to the manual, you also use it to retain that stupid metal wire that makes the space bar stay straight and level.

Trust me to have the opposite problem to most people... :ugeek:

My QL#2 has always been a bit awkward with exapnsion cards, whereas the other QL has always been straightforward.

Most people would want to get a Gold Card onto their QL. Only Dylwin would want to REMOVE one

Personally I think it's a tool to replace those dratted LED leads which never want to re-attach to the QL correctly.

Or it could be Marcell's new video adaptor (you look through the hole to look at the display)?
