It has a multi-tasking operating system, easy to use BASIC interpreter for writing your own programs and still has an active user group in Quanta - website at http://www.quanta.org.uk and a dedicated QL magazine in QL Today http://www.qltoday.com

Modern-day QL compatibles include compatible systems such as the Aurora, Q40 and Q60. There are also great QL emulators to run on systems as diverse as Windows, Mac OSX and Linux.
