Re: Microdrives dont spin or do anything
Hi Bill! The fact that you can 'see' the 'VTKQL109' medium listed suggests that the vDrive is being correctly accessed - but as yet, does not recognise the SD Card. If I recall correctly from the vDrive documentation and my own experience, vDrive will present a 'pseudo' MDV image containing only a b...

Re: My First Sinclair QL
Hi POLKa That lead from Retro Computer Shack works because it also connects the Composite PAL signal from the QL (pin-1) to the SCART Blanking input (pin-16) - which doubles-up to select between CompVideo (0-0.4V) and RGB (1V to 3V) on most TVs. The Comp-PAL signal from the QL, whilst fluctuating, i...

My own first experience of PC gaming was a terrific puzzle game called The Incredible Machine - see here on ''My Abandonware":

Re: Announcing availability of a QLNET driver for the Q68 (ND-Q68)
Terrific, Dave! I couldn't spot your 'mistake', but take your word for it! One thought - those 2mil pitch headers are more awkward to find connecting cables for than the more common 2.54mil pitch - could it work to include the 2mil (to connect to the Q68) and a 2.54mil for the pass-through connector?

Re: Announcing availability of a QLNET driver for the Q68 (ND-Q68)
Good evening afx and Francois If you are hesitant to make the HW mod yourselves, I believe that Derek Stewart from whom you purchased your Q68 HW is currently researching some viable solutions and plans to offer a modification service in due course. I will be posting some guidance plus photos from m...
