I suppose a PCB design could be generated and new PCBs made.
I do not have a Gold Card to do this.
The other problem is the Altera Chip on the Gold/Super Card has a specific version of Altera chip that is date sensitive.
I am looking into this to see if a replacement chip can be used.

Re: Sinclair QL Greek rom burn.
Hi,
I think you are referring to my post, I have a modified ROM Cartridge that maps the QL Rom and the Rom Port Areas.
If I remember correctly, it is just a matter of soldering some wire links on the cartridge.
I will try to find it over the week end and post some photographs.

QL VIM
Hi Dilwyn,
The point I was making, is editing of QL SBasic files in a QL based environment, not Windows, DOS or Linux.
I suppse VIM could be ported and the Syntax file could used quite easily.
I will look at the sources to VIM to see if this can be done.

Re: QL wish list for 2013
Hi, I have not used CTAGS in a long time, once the "tag" file has been generated, Emacs can find required Syntax by loading the required Tag Page file. This maybe not what you are after. But it is free and worht having to play around with. But QD does it better, but I like to use emacs... ...

Re: Sinclair QL Greek rom burn.
Hi,
You can not put Eproms into the QL ROM Sockets, they are only designed for QL ROMS.
The QL ROM chip has different pin arrangements.
The Minerva Operating System, was put into Eprom, but had a Printed Circuit Board to change the signals from Eprom to QL Rom.

I have been on the Forum for a while now, I noticed the messages in my Drafts folder, must of pressed Save instead of Submit. With regards to further Q60 production, there are some components that are hard to come by, but I have not try to source any parts recently. I think the cost of the CPU is ch...

Hello
Jusy popped in to see the QL Forum, looks very nice. I started programming on ZX81, went on the the Spectrum. Which I thought was OK, I liked the Z80 CPU and found it easy to program. I had a brief mess around with other Z80 machines, but went back the Spectrum, when floppy disks started appearing. ...
