Re: Q68 Order Process
And just to clarify Richard's question about general USB support in Q68 - no, in fact there is no inherent USB support in the Q68 (or, at least none exposed) - what has been discussed here is a USB to PS/2 converter, such that Q68 simply sees the PS/2 that it expects for KB and Mouse. Yes, all you ...

Re: Q68 Order Process
I had a search on the Internet, for Tripp-Lite, there is a have a mini version of the converter featured in the You Tube Video, for £10 + VAT The one you listed was the USB to PS/2 adapter and those are generally inexpensive. Tripplite also makes the opposite, a PS/2 to USB converter which are more...

Re: Q68 Order Process
The new video shows a PS/2 - USB converter. Would I be correct in thinking that if one attaches a USB hub then only peripherals that have Q68 drivers will work ? The PS/2 to USB converter isn't part of the Q68, it's something I had to buy separately. You can ask Derek if he has one available to sel...

Re: Q68 YouTube video
Didn't mean to call Quill and editor and I did demo it as a word processor...I don't do retakes :-/ I run QLWP, the US version of Quill. They are all mostly the same though in monitor mode QLWP does a nice job fitting into the somewhat limited US NTSC TV area so nothing gets cut off (which is not tr...

Re: Hi to all!!!
Wow, you started late but have come a long way...nice setup. So were you trying to re-create the QL core in an FPGA (like the Q68)?

Re: Q68 YouTube video
BTW, as a funny coincidence, looking for a 60% keyboard I found this YouTube video on one called the Q68. Doesn't quite have the right look as the base is white, but pretty close. Would be ironic if the 60% keyboard I used for my case design idea were also called Q68. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Q68 YouTube video
I finally did a video on my Q68...should have done it sooner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IrtdUJ5t10 I think a couple of facts aren't precise but I erred on the side of caution (plus time constraints mean I don't have that much available to spend on video editing which can be a bit of a pain). ...

Re: My ZX81's stopped working. :-(
Happy memories of my first computer. I even liked the keyboard! Cheers, Norm. Yup, ZX81 was my first computer too...all the way in the US. I bought it mail order from Sinclair's Nashua, NH office. Before the pandemic I got to drive through Nashua to work several times a week all these years later :...

Re: eBay learns about me
I find the recommended listings when I'm logged into eBay very helpful, especially when I'm looking for stuff. It's usually QL related (in the US which is somewhat limited) and lately Amiga since I'm scouring for a US Amiga 600 -- those things are next to impossible to find though a month or so ago ...

Re: Hello!
Welcome to the forum. I like my vDrive...I just recently realized that it's sort of the GoTek of microdrives since they both emulate that particular drive and authentic speed. There's another SD mechanisms that's internal and requires taking the cover off but I think easy to install. We'll eventuall...
