Re: QLiberator v3.42

Ok, I'm back. To me it looks like L061E is placeholder of 2 bytes -- missing code might change that assumption. The jump table at L0620 is effectively indexed by (D3.W -2) and D3 cannot be zero, or odd. If D3.W is 2, then the first entry at L0620 is used and the jump is to L0620+$0B56.If D3.W is 4, ...

Re: QLiberator v3.42

My brain leaked out through my ears and ran across the street to the bus stop after reading that code!

Re: Dynamic Sprites

An alternative would be to use a SUSPEND type extension, e.g. http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/tk/suspend.zip. This 'suspends' BASIC for 20ms ticks, but unlike PAUSE doesn't get cut short by a keypress, so animation can be smoother. Interesting, very interesting. When I wrote the code for Langton's Ant , ba...

You couldn't take the hint. I was waiting for a smart mouth come back. Not smart. The rules are available, theres a whole forum. Enjoy your read. There's a link on each posting/reply page. http://qlforum.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=13&sid=dedab86aa327eda0a9eb42017117fa4a. Nobody here is "fighting...

Re: QL FORUM on actual QL ?

There is/was an http viewer for the expanded QL a while back. It was text only though. So, no smileys. ;) And, no https either back then. The http viewer was written in C68 if I remember correctly. But it was a bit on the slow side, even with a Gold Card. It also operated on top of a "non-stand...

Re: ULA replacement - could it work in 16-bit mode ?

While I do not normally comment on these things, let me respectfully point out that calling someone a racist is rather more of an offence than referring to a country by way of a very popular and well respected pop culture figure. It wasn't his first offence. Sadly. I haven't called him racist yet, ...

Re: ULA replacement - could it work in 16-bit mode ?

I'm not triggered, or even Roy Rogers. I was merely pointing out your bring a little too close to getting racist. We also had your "8 bit faggotry" recently as well. You might think it's funny, but it's not. Stay on topic, stay off the name calling, keep it polite. Consider this a friendly...
