It depends what you mean by window manager - there is only WMAN (which works alongside PTR_GEN) to form the pointer environment and I would recommend v2.01 (for JM ROM), v2.03 for JS/Minerva etc If you mean desktops, there are: QDT (Commercial) Launchpad (Commercial) Qascade (public domain) Others.....

Ooh - another large bundle of QL goodies from down south....

Can you see if there is any of the long list of missing software titles in that bundle, so we can try to preserve it? (Might be just easier to email me a list as I keep finding new titles every day!)

You can use a PS/2 to AT adaptor and then use a PS/2 Keyboard which are more common nowadays. It was the Schon keyboard (sorry no idea how to get an umlaut on the PC!). If only I had thought - I have thrown several away as the circuit boards under the keys become brittle and the keyboard is dead as a result. Quanta may still have some QLs with these keyboards in their 'testing' pile They do ...

Using that bmp2scr program :( Ah - but then if you are trying to display the screen on an emulator .... Did you have the emulator in QL screen mode (512x256 8 colours) - otherwise it may not work as the screen is not 128 bytes wide which is what a _scr format file expects. Now I am sure there is a ...
