Re: QD Hyperhelp
Hi Derek, Sorry, no. George's Gwasl manual states that you just exec the program then press 1 to assemble. You are prompted for a filename at that point. Gwass, on the other hand accepts a directive: A\n\filenam_1\filename_2\... Where A is just a capital A; n is the number of files; followed by n fi...
Re: QL-VGA v2
- that's only slightly wrong, at least 6 pins are soldered. Just in the wrong place.

Norm.

Thanks Marcel, I thought you would know all about it, but it was the thought that counted!
I have left a comment on the video with your recommendation. Maybe he will find it useful.

Re: QL-VGA v2
I think the "rotation" problem at JLPCB is a known problem. It's on this You Tube video: https://youtu.be/C7-8nUU6e3E (excellect Kicad tutorial). The board was marked with all +ve, Pin 1 etc for components, but JLPCB have some rotation foibles, so you must check if having assembly done. Th...

True, very true. I have been called Normal a couple of times, also Norma!mk79 wrote:I'm sure you do, Norman. But we are not normal people
But I'm definitely not normal.

Re: QL-VGA v2
Fortunately this is just an SPI EEPROM with lowly 8 pins, so easily fixed. And then… it works! It f*cking works! First time! My most complex board ever just works! This is a kind of happiness most people probably cannot comprehend but I was literally jumping through the house, fighting the air with...

Re: Mystery QL/MS-DOS v4.0x Disk
I used to have this years and years ago. It is indeed the DOS disc for Conqueror. You loaded up the QL disc first, then swapped this one in. After that, you typed DOS commands and got results. Eventually ! It was dire! Most commands had to load from flp1_, so you waited for that, then the execution,...

Re: QD Hyperhelp
Thanks. GWASL doesn't - gives illegal instruction error. My confusion.

Re: QD Hyperhelp
as far as I remember, GWASS doesn't like tabs. I'm 98% certain of that as I'm now using QED for all my assembly source files and I'm not saving tabs as TAB characters, but as spaces.Derek_Stewart wrote:Does GWASS have this problem
I'd need to check to be 100% certain though.

Norm.
