Dilwyn,
While I might be (a little bit) guilty of signalling, I certainly did not mean to grumble!
Ultimately, its a badge of honnor, that your site has become so massive its hard to find anything
Thanks for doing it: so much, so well, and for so long!

Re: Thing Removal
Use TH_REMV or TH_FRMV from the Thing_rext toolkit. The only, wee, problem is: I dont know were you get that toolkit these days! Originally, I bought it from from JMS. I dont know its status, otherwise Id send it to you. Does anyone know? Its a very useful toolkit. Alternatively, you could write you...

Re: SERNET question
As I was saying, when I searched Dilwyn's site I ONLY found the documentation. Its in this document here.Derek_Stewart wrote:<>
There does appear to be any documentation for Sernet 3, so I only used v2.22 which I had working on all SMSQ/E computers.
I will try Sernet 3 over the weekend.

Re: SERNET question
Hi, If its downloadable from Dilwyn Jones site it's freeware. Got it, thanks. I use sernet 2.25 on a Q60 to connect to a Q68 running sernet 3.01mod with no real problems, using Cueshell (also now freeware). Versions of sernet before 2.25 con be problematic I have found. Yes, I remember the pain of ...

Re: SERNET question
Thanks Derek. I did search for SERNET on the site, but only the V3 documentation came up: Its part of the SMSQ/E Manual. Also some articles on V2. I couldnt have known that networking was hidden among the toolkits ;) It appears V3 is a somewhat different beast than V2, so I'll probably start with wh...

Re: SERNET question
While SERNET worked very well for me back in the day when I had an assortment of hard and soft "QL" platforms, getting it to work initially was traumatic (cables and all that), so Id like to have all my ducks in a row before I start: Theres some reference to SERNET V3 in the SMSQ/E documen...

Re: MDV Software Reclamation
You could try converting your algos to Archive IIRC it is accurate to 14 digits, although what it gains in precision it looses in magnitude. I used to know this stuff, but alas, no longer. I think Abacus uses the same fp routines.

Cute It runs on QPC2, including the test_bas. Do you intend to do any more work on it for the QL?

Wow! Clearly a major opus. Obviously, itll take time to try out and explore, so I cant say more now although, from what Ive seen of your previous work, I wont be disappointed ;o)

Re: Knoware.no
I am discovering your site now. I am not a QL programmer, but I value the work that you are redoing this website again. It is usual that, after a while, we lose interest in continuing to work on these projects. I say it from experience. After all, we are a small community around the QL. Congratulat...
