Re: .win files and TDI
Hi, The .win file or QWA file, sometimes called a QXL.WIN, I save to a FAT formatted SD Card and insert this into a Q68 and connect the QL TDI to Q68 with the QL NETwork and transfer the files. Okay, you may not have a Q68, so QLUB by Martin Hill can connect the QL Network to QPC2, which QPC2 can re...

Re: CP/M Books for sale
Hi Derek, I'd be interested in the second one (cp/m software bus) Let me know if it's still available and how much / how to pay. I'm on a work trip to London right now with just my phone and likely to be in wall to wall meetings for 2 days solid (lucky me), so I may be a bit slow getting back to yo...

Re: CQV1 Real Time Digitiser from CL Systems
Hi, This was reviewed in QL World 1991 Jul. and user report in 1992 Feb. I remember talking to CL Systems about their new interface, trying to get a unit on loan to write a review for the BBS I used to run. But they said I could buy an interface if I liked and write a review, so said I had to save u...

Re: QL CP/M
Hi, I totally agree with these points, I stopped using CP/M when the CP/M Users group stopped. Moving to the QL was alot better in 1984, but not good, but replacing the Microdrives with Disk Drives and a Trump Card, transformed the QL from a not bad computer to a excellent machine with builtin featu...

Re: 68008 Computer KIT
Hi The kit is available on themanufactuers website for £65 PCBs on Ebay for £7.95 But the is not much software for this CP/M implementation. A better option would to use a BBC B with a PiTube Direct to emulate the CPN software system, CPN seems to another implementation of CP/M! Hey would could sti...

Re: QL CP/M
Hi Judging by the message by Timbo614 further this thread at: ttps://qlforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1323&start=40#p21177 It seems that Timbo, wrote the Quest CP/M BIOS code. I wonder if he owns the copyright for the code and maybe has ge source code. I also re-read Dave Park in...

Re: QL CP/M
 Quest CPM 68K Boot MDV.jpgI have found the Quest CP/M 68K boot micrdrive, it was very cleverly hidden in a case with other microdrives? See attached photograph I will make a copy of the microdrive, but the CP/M 68K boot loader needs the OS Module Card in the expansion slot. The problem now...
