Re: E.A.S.E.
HI, But it would be really nice if Launchpad's author would fix that bug that prevents it launching basic programs And maybe add the posibility of having more tabs than 4 and of having more icons in a tab, in higher resolutions Can you no execute the SBASIC program. When starting Basic programs, th...

Re: E.A.S.E.
Hi,
I disaasembled most of bdesk_bin and some of desk_bin, mot sure if it is worth the effort as when running EASE looks worse than ICE, or GEM

Re: RasPiQL
But it is not a fair comparison, as the Q68 is running at 40Mhz, the PI-400, PI-4B run at 1.5Ghz, if there a comparison o be made, I need the Q68 at 1.5Ghz.... maybe impossible. Pi-400 runs at 1.8GHz thanks to extended heatsink. I think the PI-400 purchase may of been a mistake, I should of stuck w...

Re: RasPiQL
Hi, I recently bought a second hand unboxed PI-400, which is a PI4B with 4Gb ram, with a 16Gb SD Card, and manual. Great I thought faster than the PI3B+ But when running the upto Linux OS - Buster, is really slow, do not like the file manager. I compiled sQLux and installed Java and run SMSQmulator,...

Re: New Q68 Case
Hi, Here is another option for the current case: combi-case_15_15_80mm_black_pic_1.png This is he same dimension as the previous case, except it is split into 2 halfves, allowing the top half to be removed allowing the Q68 board to accessed fitted n the lower half. The advantages of this design are:...

Graham Tinkers channel has a teardown of a Samsung QL that they have bought. Looks like a lot of work needs doing to it ;) Also possible upgrades. Could be fun. Re: E.A.S.E.
Hi, Look in the QDOS Technical manual or SMSQ/E Reference manual. That said, I doubt just poking a value into a System Variable will work, surely the writers at Gigasoft would thought of that and not used the QDOS routines. Maybe disassemble the program is see what is going on. I was looking at the ...

Re: QPTR demo Paint.bas
There is another issue with the QPTR PAINT_BAS program, it uses the variable compiled to detect wether it is compiled. But if Turbo Toolkit is loaded, there is a COMPIKED keyword added to the interpreter, so that fails as well. Yes, but that was easy to spot, even for me. I changed it to isCompiled...
