Hi everyone,
I can also test Tetroid's interface with several partitions on the CF card. I'll take a look at the relevant commands and let people know how I get on.
Speak to you soon,
George.

Re: Announcement - new QL Interface
Ah, okay. I read it that the new jumpers and fixed base address was for the new rev. 1 card. I didn't think the jumpers' function could be changed in firmware, so assumed it didn't apply to version we are testing.
Thanks, George.
Thanks, George.

Re: Announcement - new QL Interface
Thanks again and for the picture. On the original QUBIDE interface, the bank of 5 jumpers is used to set the base address for the card. Is this still the case? If so, it suggests that the originally configured based address of 0c000h has been changed to e0000, which seems odd. Perhaps the jumpers me...

Re: Announcement - new QL Interface
HI, Use the Altera 13.0 software in Rich's link. The Altera firmware can be updated with the QL and Interface powered on. After the firmware has updated, power the QL down. Remove the EEPROM and update the EEPROM with the new ROM software. Change the Jumpers on the Trump Card to 1-2-3 rather than 3...

Re: Announcement - new QL Interface
After programming, you will need to turn off the QL and then change the jumpers on the interface (so there is a jumper on 1,2 and 3 and none on 4, 5). Then change the EPROM over to the latest version, re-connect and power on the QL. Hi Rich, Thanks. I don't have a copy of the new EPROM, though I in...

Re: Announcement - new QL Interface
HI George, I updated the Altera Firmware with the v13.0 SP1 of the programming software, as Rich says, v9.1 software would not work very on my 64 bit Windows 10 Pro machine. The Eprom is actually a Winbond W27C512 EEPROM, I used a Minipro TL866CS programmer to erase the EEPROM and programme the chi...

Re: Announcement - new QL Interface
OK - it's been a bit of a learning curve but I have updated the Altera chip with the new IO code. I ended up downloading v13.0 SP1 of the programming software as I was having problems with v9.1 on my 64 bit machine. Lessons learnt: a) Windows 10 does not install a driver for the USB Blaster automat...

Re: Dustcovers for the QL
I have recently purchased one of these covers from Rigzz. It arrived today and I'm very pleased with it. It fits the QL nicely, protecting those exposed Microdrive bays from dust and debris, plus looks great! If you typically leave your QL set up on your desk and have a few pounds to spare, I'd reco...
