I don’t think there will be any issues with a 90 degree bend using new membranes. Once installed there will be stresses in the membrane but it will be static stresses. What breaks such membranes is usually fatigue. In other words, install it and leave it alone.

Re: SMSQ 3.38 for Aurora does not work ?
Ok I figured out the problem, this is bad news. The aurora_bin file was downloaded from Wolfgang site and went through many steps before ending on my aurora setup hard drive. So I checked the integrity of it along the path… Ok on SMSQmulator i.e. config utility shows all config options Ok on my Q68 ...

Clearly my aurora_bin file was corrupted somehow. I will try again and report.

SMSQ 3.38 for Aurora does not work ?
Hi, Today I upgraded my QL computers to the latest SMSQ 3.38. While the upgrade went smoothly on my GoldCard QL and my Q68, it was not the case with my SuperGoldCard + Aurora station. First strange behavior, when I try to configure the Aurora_bin file taken from the official SMSQ site, the config ut...

Looking forward to see the final product… and putting some money aside. François Looking at the survey after it had plenty of time to settle,...

Re: BlackKnight chess
Happens for me with any QPC2 version. But it works once I configure the hash table to some value (I chose -2048). How you configure the hash table? By using the normal config utilities “config” or “menu config” on the file: blackknight_ptr For the hash table, choices are (in kiloBytes) Positive val...

Re: The comp.sys.sinclair Crap Games Competition 2021: 25th edition extravaganza!
but the algorithms to actually get the computer to scan through the letter cubes that are available, the way a human player would, and assess if the combination matches any word in the bank... that's a bit more of a tricky proposition. Been there done that a the QL a long time ago (around 2004 if I...
