Is it always the same exact pattern or there is some variation every time you plug it in ?

Re: Sinclair QL (cross) development and emulation questions
You might want to have a look here (not my page) I also did my own implementation of a high color image viewer using this technic about 24 years ago. I can send you the source code if you wish. I have two versions, one that smash the system variables to use the second screen and thus would work in ...

Re: Sinclair QL (cross) development and emulation questions
If the changes written to the video register are immediate, this would imply that mixed video modes are possible? Like part of the screen using a 512 width and parts of the screen 256 width, assuming one can get the code to execute cycle exact. This is interesting to figure out! You might want to h...

Re: QIMI interface repair
Actually one of my QIMI seems to work. Yay! Not the best solder work that I've ever seen but good enough apparently. Pin 40 of the ZX socket is cut under the board Ok thanks Marcel. One less thing to repair. Time to fire the soldering iron. I have little hope that it will work at the end of the day...

Re: QIMI interface repair
Thank you Marcel and Dilwyn for the PCB pictures, that is exactly what I was looking for. Chr$, if you ever open your Goldcard QL box, I would also be interested to have pictures of the populated board. For example my QIMI is missing the pin that goes into the top right ZX8302 socket hole. I have se...

QIMI interface repair
Hi, I am trying to repair a pretty beaten up QIMI interface. Some of the soldering is very ugly with solder bridges (intentional ???) missing pins etc. Before plugin it, I want to make sure everything is as it should be... Does anybody have a good hires picture of the top and, more importantly, the ...

Re: Idiot's Guide to Installing SMSQ/E - Needed!
I never understood what is the difference between the GoldCard_256colours and the Aurora SMSQ/E version as the only way the get 256 on a (super)goldcard is with an Aurora board.
I use the Aurora version with my Aurora QL, might try the 256 colors version one day.

Re: New Pointer Environment
We have one pending submission from HAOUI for WMAN that actually fully implements the WM.INDEX call. I'm of two hearts on this one, on one hand I'm really grateful that somebody other than Wolfgang or me submits code for the PE, on the other hand there is currently no use case for it. ... To be hon...

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver
Hi Martin, I have successfully installed your driver to my Q68. When started, everything initialize correctly. I am able to ping other computers on my local network and ping the Q68 from them. However I have not been successful of communicating with QPC on my laptop. I am pretty sure it is because ...
