I have a windows editor that may invoque a dos command line and thus lauch an application with parameters (including the fliname currently edited). But the question is : does any QL emulator have the capacity to boot, loading and automatically running a PC text file which name it gets in the command...

You should use evenly-spaced fonts like "Courrier New", then there would be no formatting issues.

My own version : 1/ have you kept your QL, and does it still work ? I bought my first QL end 1984 in France like Steve Poole, and of course it was a QWERTY model ; it still works. I googled this , where there are some (relatively simple) ideas for serial interfacing a miniature railroad with any computer (thus a plain QL).
