Re: Naive question about SCART connection on TV
Hi Peter,

Re: Naive question about SCART connection on TV
Hi Peter, I agree that IDE CF adapters don't always work on the Q60 but I have been using an old CF adapter on the Q60 for some time without issue. However I do not use Linux on the Q60 as the RPi I find is a better hobby linux system with lots of support. After trying a few I have found a new CF ca...

Re: $$external problem
Hi Sorry to have come to this thread late and have just tried the demonstration program for FRA(), compiled with QLiberator and LRESPRed and I get it to work when compiled with smsq/e 3.31 or with smsq/e 3.32 on a Q60. I have also QLiberated this demo program on my Aurora system, smsq/e 3.32 mode 4 ...

Re: Naive question about SCART connection on TV
Hi Jornaclaude, You are correct that IDE CF card adapters can connect to QUBide and take the place of an IDE hard disk. See blog post about Aurora rebuild with replacing old hard disk with CF card. I am awaiting delivery of an IDE to SD card adapter which if it works well might replace the hard disk...

Re: Miracle Super Gold card
Sorry cannot lend SuperGoldCard as it is in daily use. But if you do manage to get the clone working an increase in on card memory and a faster CPU speed and a means of switching from 9v to 5 v operation would make it immensely interesting to those who already have a SuperGoldCard.
Cheers

Re: Unused ED Disks
Used to have 2 ancient ED Drives but one smelt of burning and leaked smoke while testing it in the Aurora I was building. Now while the remaining drive is installed in the Aurora case I don't use the ED disks I have as when the second one goes anything on an ED disk will be lost unless someone can s...
Re: Q68 page
The manual is great. Its release must increase the anticipation of the Q68 launch. BTW is there a way to over clock the Q68?

Re: Run benchmarks and share your results
Its not much trouble. SuperGoldcard with aurora, mode 4 512x256 gets a QTOP index of 13.770, not much different from 640x480 as you might expect. The screen organization is the same which is not the case when comparing the Q60 mode 4, 512x256 with 16bit colour and 1024x512 resolution. Q60 1024x512 1...

Re: Run benchmarks and share your results
Just joined the forum so I am not allowed to email peter privately at the moment. I would say that the QTOP figure posted on the QLHeaven website was not "wrong" as such. The results of QTOP performance testing for the Q60 depends on cache settings, screen size and colour mode as well as p...
