Re: Q68 Order Process
Would you be offering a kit of parts to add the network ports / i2c port on the rear of the new case. And would this be something for DIY retrofit? I love the compactness of the Q68, but that is also it's downfall in terms of space to put the network ports etc. A kit of parts is always an option. T...

New Q68 Case
I am considering a slightly larger Q68 case, with added height to accommodate the I2C and QL Net Connectors on the rear end plate, which would save drilling into the case side wall. The new case would have an added 15mm in height, which would give enough space on the Rear Panel to accommodate the I2...

Re: Q68 Order Process
Hi, I must apologise for the condition of the Q68 end plates. The end plates are made from black anodised laser cut plates, with all the required holes CNC machined. The problem is with the paint adherence to the metal, which I use a high temperature melting paint so that the paint could be baked to...

Re: Show us your kit!
Hi, I am sorry for the flaking of the paint, the problem is the way the panels have been made, the panels are Anodised Aluminium, with the edges bare metal where the machining process has been performed. The paint used was a high temperature painted, baked to 120 Deg C, but clearly this is not suita...

Re: Microdrives not working and now neither oqtadrive
Hi, In the picture is showing your 8302, there is a pin that is bent and possibly giving an intermittent connection. The bent pin 21 is not standard on all QLs, only all example of someone not fitting the chip correctly. You need to remove the 8302 and straighten the bent 21 pin, clean the pin legs ...

Re: Today I Received...
From Rich at RWAP (via sellmyretro.com): Mug (or indeed the coffee) not included ;) I'm looking to install it over the weekend. My QL is rather prone to key bounce, so hopefully this solves it. Can someone put the disk on Dilwyn's site, or here? I have an Hermes, but not the disk. Here you are... H...

Re: Advanced QL User Guide
Hi, Nearly finished the checking of ebook. But I have come across an issue: I have come across a problem with an example code fragment in the physical book, for the use of IO.SERIO or IOU.SSIO in SMSQ/E. The example in the Advanced QL User Guide, uses the same example in the QL Technical and the SM...
