The German ZX-Team has its anual meeting in begin of April. There are about 50 Sinclair enthusiasts meeting there, and as it's QLs 30th Birthday there will be a part of it dedicated to the QL. Its also possible to install a second sdhc adapter as sdc2_.
I need to set a jumper different then and a cable with three connectors, one for your QLROMEXT and two for the two sd card interfaces.
I need to think about a price for this.

I would feel much safer with a 100% compatible J1 and a physical different extended bus so no doubt could be what should be connected where.

As the Video Monitor "Problem" has no Solution yet I would prefer not to drop these signals. Of course you cannot override these signals, but you can scan those for a video grabber that makes VGA output, or if someone designs a 32 bit graphics card, there could be a fallback to the slow or...
