I have quite a few spare ROMs from various interfaces - I will dig them out and see - I have at least a v1.24 MicroP ROM chip here

Re: (Newbie) Aurora / Gold Card
(Newbie Alert!) Bought a Aurora card from Rich recently, as I was thinking about putting the QL in a PC box. Bought a Gold Card of Rich earlier in the year, so I thought I'd be sorted. Reading the Aurora manual the evening before putting the components together, it said that Gold Card's with yellow...

Re: Special Lightning ROM 2.11
I just dug out a copy of Lightning, so yes, I can supply it. However, this has perplexed me somewhat.... I have Lightning and Lightning SE from the Digital Precision Collection. Lightning (lng_text_ext) is v1.11 and Lightning SE (lng_text_ext) is v2.14 However I also have a disk for each... The disk...

Re: Pointer Environments
It depends what you mean by window manager - there is only WMAN (which works alongside PTR_GEN) to form the pointer environment and I would recommend v2.01 (for JM ROM), v2.03 for JS/Minerva etc If you mean desktops, there are: QDT (Commercial) Launchpad (Commercial) Qascade (public domain) Others.....

Re: QL A/D_1 - Scanner
Ooh - another large bundle of QL goodies from down south....
Can you see if there is any of the long list of missing software titles in that bundle, so we can try to preserve it? (Might be just easier to email me a list as I keep finding new titles every day!)

Re: Keyboard interface
You can use a PS/2 to AT adaptor and then use a PS/2 Keyboard which are more common nowadays. As for cost - SuperHermes retails at £110 plus postage, but then the SuperHermes does include the following: •Hi-speed 2-way RS232 (9 pin DIN lead supplied) at up to 115,200 baud on a Super Gold Card equ...
