No, just regular Windows 10. It's actually a powerful laptop with an Nvidia 3D graphics card, although QPC of course doesn't utilise it. I've never seen any sign of graphic slowdowns before.

Re: Run benchmarks and share your results
Apropos QPC, on my i7 laptop I'm finding that the results are very inconsistent. One thing is certain though; the GRAPHSCRN part is very very slow in high colour. It shows around 8 seconds, or a factor of approx 1.8 compared to a standard QL, while in 4 colour mode at QL resolution or slightly highe...

Re: Run benchmarks and share your results
Hi, Resurrecting this thread to say that Marcel's new Mister core got 15.896 with Minerva and 15.329 with SMSQ/E, both with 4MB RAM and "full" CPU speed. Since this figure is dependent on various factors, I would take the precise number too seriously, but it gives an idea. The results seem...

Re: 198? - A cyberpunk ACT text adventure Release thread & Download!
I realised yesterday that this can be solved on SMSQ/E with DEV_USE 1,win1_adv_ (or wherever you put it) and then DEV_USE FLP. This allows it to save its file wherever you define FLP1_ to be.

Re: 198? - A cyberpunk ACT text adventure Release thread & Download!
That part is hard coded within ACT, what device would it be? Ideally I suppose it should save wherever the executable is, or at least have a configurable save destination. Now that I know it only saves on FLP1_ it isn't really a problem, however it was a bit of a puzzle until I realised what was go...

Hi,
I've been playing your game, and finally managed to open the lift...
Now it appears it will only save to FLP1_, so on Q68 etc, you have to mount the FDI image, and run it from there otherwise you can't save the game.

Re: FGPA Anyone?
But you need the I/O board for the SD-card slot With many cores, the need for the second SD-card has been replaced with a virtual hard disk file on the main SD-card. AFAIK, the only cores that still actually need the second SD-Card reader are the Multicomp and the QL. Could this be done for the QL ...

Re: FGPA Anyone?
Hi Derek, My problems were are the Mister core on the Mister, not the Q68. The Q68 works very nicely, both with SMSQ/E and Minerva. I had some problems making getting the QL-SD on the Mister to work properly. I solved that, and now find that the system is very unstable. Further investigation has sho...

Re: FGPA Anyone?
Hi, Thanks for replying. Here's the latest. I have (hopefully) made sure that I am using the correct ROM. I made sure I was using EXACTLY the same QXL.WIN file that I am using under Minerva on the Q68. I have set the Mister core to 896K of RAM, normal CPU speed. The Mister is very unstable, constant...

Re: FGPA Anyone?
Hello, Resurrecting this thread to ask how to install QXL.WIN on the second sd card reader. How does the card need to be formatted? I am unable to make it work. Thanks, D. UPDATE: I got it to work. It turned out it needed an SDHC card, and doesn't support SDXC. However, now it seems to lock up whene...
