I have managed to revive a Sandy QXT-640 computer - and have listed it on sellmyretro.com

Word of mouth, good customer service, keeping people updated and delivering on promises. Surely all marketing is the same, it is just that there are more methods which can be used nowadays. Actually from a QL point of view, the following has helped spread the word about the QL and drive more traffic...

Wikipedia does not actually have a lot of information on the QL - I think their page on QL Software is quite laughable, but then I am not really sure why they have it - the page on Spectrum software would run to several 1000 entries.... Still maybe I am biased - I had my account on WIkipedia banned ...

I have a version of TechniQL which works in q-emulator and Super Gold Card QLs - not tried it on anything else.

It has the copy protection removed - I was just not sure that this was required now that Malcolm Lear's PCB-CAD continues to be updated regularly.

Glad to see that my marketing strategy for SellMyRetro is paying off - we get around 1/2 million hits a month.

Like any other 3D effect really - it depends to some extent on your monitor / TV and also your eyes. You have to be careful when using the RANDOMISE command... If you are using it in a program which runs as soon as the QL boots up, it will always be seeded with the same value (as the same amount of time will have passed since the QL was switched on!)...
